actually i thought it was about 6 days to go. just checked the date then and noticed it was 8 days away. usa won it 2 yrs ago didn't they.  i remember faldo getting a bashing. he didn't hit a ball in anger and it's all his fault.  |

Looking forward to this. Think the Yanks will win this though, the fairways have been widened and the rough is very light so it'll suit the big hitters. Europe have the better "top" players but I feel the Americans have more depth. Think it'll be close as usual, cannas wait, one of my favourite sporting events

i see woods had a shit day. for me that's the one blot on woods copybook. ;D in golf that is.  his form in ryder cup has been a big disappointment over the years. 5-3 usa after the 1st day. opinions? |
