(after The Beach Boys of course). I can't remember if I've ever listened to Wild Nothing. That might not be a good sign.

Ringo Deathstarr's new record Mauve has leaked. If it's as good as the last one it'll be superb.

Imagine Hearts is a massive tune.
Not sold on the new one after one go through. Hopefully a few more listens bares fruit!

Heard it 3 or 4 times and I've liked it more each time so stick with it.
Raveonettes new one has grown on me too which surprised me as I really thought it was boring first time I heard it.

Pretty big on this kind of stuff at the minute. Stuff in the same vein as JAMC / J&MC / BRMC etc. So, I've looking around (LastFM, Spotify, YouTube) and found a few things I really like. Bumping this up as I was doing this too and rediscovered this thread so intend to check out some of the albums mentioned Any additions welcomed!

Some stuff I've dug that's been released since last time I was in this thread:
Cheatahs - Cheatahs (2014) My Bloody Valentine - m b v (2013) Lumerians - The High Frontier (2013) Ringo Deathstarr - Mauve (2012) Moon Duo - Circles (2012) Goat - World Music (2012) (more on the psych side rather than shoegaze/dream-pop Spiritualized - Sweet Heart Sweet Light (2012) The Raveonettes - Into the Night (2012)
& anything by Black Market Karma. They've made about five albums in a couple of years. All sound the fucking same but if you like that sorta thing then it's all good. You can get all their records for free from their website.

Listening to it nearly makes me lower half a point to every Crocodiles record.

Try out the new record too if you fancy more. I think it's one of their best.

Just found about Les Rallizes Dénudés which is a pretty cool underground Japanese 60s/70s droning machine à la Velvet Underground. The "Heavier Than a Death in the Family" bootleg is quite something.

Dunno if I'm incredibly fucking late to the party with this lot or what, but I stumbled across this EP a few months ago and I've had a semi since tbf. THOUGHT I'D SHARE

Stumbled across a series of Japanese psychedelic rock compilations on Spotify. The series called Teen Trash From Psychedelic Tokyo '66 - '69 and there are 3 volumes. Volume 1 is called Monster A Go-Go, Volume 2 is called Big Lizard Stomp! and Volumes 3 is called Slitherama. Having a great time with them.
One of the tracks from Volume 1 that I'm really enjoying at the minute:

Nice, will have to check these comps out. Love hearing other countries takes on popular American/British sounds from back in the day.

Listened to Loveless for the first time in ages the other day. A proper jaw-dropping record. Never loses its magic. People who say the debut is better can do one!
