Yeah I saw them at a festival recently, they seemed to be making the kind of sound I would like but I thought the tunes were not very good.

I saw they got bigged up in The Skinny, which is now putting out a 'North West' edition. The interview was a pile of badly written crap, but the band sound good. Will investigate. |

New KOL is their most playful since their sophomore record. Family Tree is easily their best song in the last 10 years and as obvious as the single is, it has grown on me lots. Not an amazing album, but might be better than the last three.

New KOL is their most playful since their sophomore record. Family Tree is easily their best song in the last 10 years and as obvious as the single is, it has grown on me lots. Not an amazing album, but might be better than the last three. It has it's moments but after my first listen I wasn't overly impressed with it as an album. Definitely sounded better than the last 2 which were absolute SHIT. |
