Just got done talking to my cousin RollWithIt he played me a few tracks over the phone. Iz Rite is better than God Save the Queen. "so dont look down, I wont let go, you bear my mind, sting my soul, stars align..........when you call my naaaame it taaakes away my paaaaiinnnn" At least Iz Right has some decent lyrics.

shine a light sounds good enough, assume the production will be a big plus on this one when a proper rip emerges oasisnews.com.br/?p=1671

xfactor will be huge. really dont get the problem. there's hardly any tv programmes that showcases bands nowadays, the xfactor is one of the very few. it will give them massive publicity. Fuck off. If Noel did this, you'd be making a thousand posts a day. Beady Eye are performing on the xfactor because they desperately want chart success. This is fine, but don't pretend it's rock n roll. The hypocrisy on this board is phenomenal. I'm afraid I agree. If Noel were doing it we'd never hear the end of it. I don't know if my perception of the British X Factor is accurate, being on the other side of the Atlantic, but it just seems to be a show for pop stars (like Nicki Minaj and Jesse J, that sort of thing). Awful, awful news.

have to say my enthusiasm about his record is falling quite a bit. flick of the finger was a fucking GREAT start, but from being 'out there' and 'experimental' space rock, it now seems to be being described more and more as acoustic with shit lyrics. second bite of the apple is good but it's such a predictable shout for a single (with obligatory awful video) and from the shitty quality other tracks that i've heard, it doesn't really seem that interesting at all so far.
really hope i'm wrong.
still a lot better than the high flying birds.

I was never that excited about this, but it is probably going to be a deception.

Surprise Surprise its shit.
"This will sound big with good production" ZZZZ... Beady Eye could have Phil Spector and Brian Wilson at the peak of their respective powers and it still would not matter.
Liam has written one truly great song in 20 years, Andy Bell has been washed up pretty much since, Going Blank Again, and Gem Archer was a never was. There was a reason his band never amounted to anything during the height of the mid 90's Brit Pop movement.

From what I've heard;
Flick of The Finger - 9/10 Second Bite of The Apple - 7.5/10 Start Anew - 7/10
To the people who've heard other tracks (Soul Love, Don't Brother Me etc) how do you rate them?
Just because the record doesn't sound big & epic doesn't mean it's an instant failure. I've loved / like the tracks I've heard so if they can at least keep that standard up, I'll be happy.

in all honesty its hard to rate the tracks, cause the quality is shite, i heard each track twice and nothing really stood out, well, dont brother me did, because of it shite lyrics, but hey, lets wait for a proper rip. Though I am surprised to hear so many acoustic/ stripped down sounds,..
however, as far as I am concered, even the bad quality of the clips cant conceal what I have always said, they just dont have a SONGWRITER, which is not unimportant if u wanna make music, everything else is there, i guess
