Liam sounds like a robot no wonder he was attacking Daft Punk.

I was hoping it would explode at some point but still, I'm liking it a lot. I just played back the shitty leaked version and you can't hear any of the production

I really dislike gem, his guitar playing was the death knell for the classic oasis live sound and he also contributed some of the worst songs in recorded history. Bonehead4life

Good tune. Love the atmospheric production on it. Maybe a little too long with an unnecessarily lengthy outro.
Still, it's dark with a bit of menace about it and it could be a grower.
7.5/10

I was hoping it would explode at some point This, really. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for things to get big. But, isn't this the 2nd track on the record? Flick of The Finger opens which gets HUGE so I guess this will bring things back down nicely.

Just listened to the xfm soul love and think its pretty decent......put it this way, it's a proper song rather than some embarrassing 6th form band "yeah we're sticking it to the man" style dodgy "punk" effort a la 'Beatles and stones' or 'ain't got nothing' or a desperate Lennon rip off. More please.

As for the outro I love it. Normally I subscribe to the shorter the better school of thought but love that ending, got a real creepiness to it, like revolution #9.
So far:-
flick of the finger 9 Soul love 9, maybe higher with more listens Second bite 5

I'm waiting for a decent rip before I listen to anything, apart from Soul Love later on. Why would somebody leak something in such shite quality? Genuine question the source was fearing a digital watermark.....

the ratings police will have a field day with that one anyway, soul love sounds good to me. if the album sounds like that throughout i'll be pretty happy tbh. now know that the opening two tracks are good in any case.

Haha what happened was the battery died in my phone pre outro for the first listen, I put it on charge and made my 'pretty decent' comment then had a second 'whole song' listen and the outro adds a lot imo

The production on the actual album compared to the leaks is night and day....hold opinions until you hear the proper album, you can hear so much stuff going on.
