Not sure if he has been mentioned in the forum but this is a solid Austin, Texas artist making some noise in town. Really liked his last album:

I like him as well. He opened for Robert Randolph (twas a free gig that featured pristine people watching) and I just remember walking around when his set started and slowly getting closer to the stage as I started paying more and more attention to how good he was
