So... the poster is freakin' awesome. James McAvoy,Rosario Dawson, Vincent Cassel...? "An art auctioneer who has become mixed up with a group of criminals partners with a hypnotherapist in order to recover a lost painting."

Yep, I'm looking forward to it.
Boyle is a interesting director in that his films tend to feel so completely different from one another. I hope this is no exception.

Yep, leads me to be really hot and cold on him, which is fine I can accept all of his films aren't for me. Trainspotting, Sunshine and 127 Hours are big favourites of mine though. Not seen Millions, A Life Less Ordinary or The Beach though, but these are considered to be his weakest innit?
The poster looks like Amorphous Androgynous playing a beach towel man #NoelPosts

millions is absolutely great, the beach could have been better if they would've stuck to the actual novel.

Just back from watching it. It was decent, the first hour was great but it faded a bit, it felt like an Eternal Sunshine spin-off in the end with Memento thrown into the mix. Worth watching just for the soundtrack though.
Related but uninteresting fact: James McAvoy and Anne-Marie Duff are my favourite celeb couple. I'd really like to play scrabble with them while drinking ribena skittle vodka.

Yeah I felt the further the plot thickened and the more twists and turns it took the less I became interested. Also I'm not sure James McAvoy has enough about him to be able to hold a film like this. Still a good film and like all of Boyle's films it felt fresh.
