Come on Outside is an outtake from the Dig Out Your Soul sessions, one that Liam refused to turn up for to sing along with Record Machine - Andy Bell mentions it in the DVD documentary.
Just Let It Come Down Over Me is a leftover from Don't Believe The Truth.

That one is pretty damn good, actually. (imagines Liam singing it...)

one that Liam refused to turn up for to sing along with Record Machine Any reason given? Noel cites the fact that Liam went off to get married when he should have been recording vocals. Personally, I think that's all a load of bollocks - you mean to say that they couldn't tie down Liam for one days recording? Liam got married (and presumably then went off on honeymoon) in Feb 2008 - the album didn't come out until October. But that's the story Noel's always told, he said that Ain't Got Nothing and High Horse Lady made it onto DOYS instead of Liam-sung versions of Record Machine and Come On It's Alright. Who knows the real story, I'm not sure Liam has told his side, or even been asked about it.

Wouldn't surprise me if these ended up on Noel's 2nd album after some "re-working".
Both shite.

1st tune is alright. It might have made DOYS a little more coherent as a whole but it's not worth Noel's constant whining. Second tune is great bar the odd clunky lyric

Both tunes sound better in demo form than with Sardy's production.

The acoustic one is quite nice but the other one is bland as fuck.

The first one is actually alright. Sounds like it could've been a b-side for SOTSOG or DOYS. I wonder what it would sound like with Liam on vocals.

First one is not bad, but I think to remember Noel sold it like some amazingest rocking song.
Second is quite nice too.

I do have to say, for the last decade or so his best songs are the ones no-one has heard. Such a shame, it works when he tries a different style yet he chooses to rather do different versions of the same stadium bombast.

Oh my, the second one is brilliant. The only concern is it's a demo and not the finished version. Still, great
