I read somewhere that Brett Anderson didn't want the new album to sound like a parody of Suede. I haven't heard it all the way through, but if the single is anything to go by then he didn't try very hard.
Jorn is spot on about the back catalogue, although I've got a soft spot for a couple of the singles from Head Music (arguably the worst LP ever recorded by anyone) too.

ive properly gotten into suede over the last few months having pretty much just only known the singles and stuff in the past. been absolutely loving coming up. gonna try and catch their rough trade instore gig next week as il be in town for the tct gigs.
