I never heard the first album but I like this new one It is cheesy as fuck but there is bags of charm about it. Rob sings far too much on the record but yeah, I like it!

Just read the review, a bit hash IMO. The production does sound like a bedroom project, a couple of tracks sound like The Jesus Abyss! I thought the couple of singles (or whatever I heard) from the debut were shit so I'd recommend giving it a cautious listen.

i saw THE DOT live last year in a tiny club in norwich. it was alright but rob harveys vocals do my head in after a while.
still find it hard to say a bad word about skinner though really, top guy.
