"Due to guitarist Gem Archer's injury, the band regret to inform fans that they will be cancelling their upcoming shows in Belgium and Japan until further notice. They are very sorry for any disappointment this will cause but as Gem is an integral part of the band there is no way that they can play without him. An update on Gem's condition will follow"
Andy Bell @andybebop Wanna wish my brother @gemarcherbe a speedy recovery X

Who is a Lou Archer and what is he twatting about?
This reminds me of the time a cop kicked down my fence and when I asked him what happened to my fence he walked away without looking at me and said "a criminal did it running away from the police"
LG is trying to save his marriage and sort out legal shit. Until Gem starts rolling around like Christopher Reeves I'll think otherwise

This is probably the end of the band. 2nd album has been a commercial disaster. 'Definitely maybe' sold more copies last week. I think they'll split before the end of the year.

Show some class you bunch of pricks. Gem could have lost half his head in a terrifying chainsaw incident a la Scarface, and you all think it's an excuse to somehow hide the fact LG is a Grade A shagger.
