"Noel said that his demos are recorded for his follow up to the 'Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds' album.
He said the album is going to be released at the end of next year or early 2015, and added he's written some good songs lately and possibly the best song he's ever written."

He's said the same thing about every record he's been involved with since Heathen Chemistry. But let's face it, this is most likely going to be another washed up dirge for people who buy their Snow Patrol and Adele CDs in Tesco.

by "written some good songs lately" he presumably means "found some demos from 12 years ago" and by "best song he's ever written" he means "solve my mystery".
