They're ok, both are in the middle section of the album where it dips noticeably in quality
fake edit: the middle section does have invisible city though, which is a total blast.

Invisible city is the only track on the LP which I'm not keen on.

Tenement Kid is a tune. Invisible City probably the worst song of the record. They should have put Nothing Is Real/Nothing Is Unreal in there instead of that. All in all, a great record. Hope they can release a few more albums like this before calling it a day.

I'm not sure myself. A big shame about 2013 was that there wasn't an obvious choice for the soapbox new heroes. In the past few yeas we had THE PAINS (discovered by Moz), Shit Horse, Action Bronson, Goat. I tried my best to make Connections happen but I failed. I hope 2014 sees a band come from nowhere that we can all wank over for a few months. Tentative work has begun on my new album, its probably going to be a band effort this time, rather then just me. Vargas K are coming..

I still think the bashing I got in this thread wasn't justified.
Pack of bastards.

ARITE ABODY! Nae been on here as much this year as I wouldve liked, spent a lot of the latter half of the year training for the Munich marathon (me and my sister ran the race together, completed it in 5hrs, great city as well) and for the past few months been (long overdue at the age of 27) learning how to drive. Nightmare learning to drive in Aberdeen, like learning how build Duplo at Ian Watkins' hoose tbh. Always a good time to post when the threat of AIDS has been looming large!! For me, it was a great year for gigs but nae quite as good a year as last year for albums (Kendrick, Nas, ETID, Pulled apart by Horses etc, tons of great albums fae last year that I was still blaring this year). Gigs to follow never happened hahaha. basically, Kendrick, Snoop, Travis, Fat Goth, Kraftwerk, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Texas were all badass at T in the Park. Glasgow green Stone Roses was a mess of cokehead weegies and the atmosphere seeing them at Benicassim in 12 was much better.
And the best gig was The Bronx, definitely my favourite live band ever after seeing them for a 2nd time in a small venue (previously seen them at Reading, also a good atmosphere tho). Saw them at Tunnels in Aberdeen last year, one of my favourite gigs ever, punk rock with a wry grin - at its best.
