Always seemed a bit of an odd one for United, already got plenty of players who prefer to play on the left and clearly a striker should be the priority. And they don't usually spend anything in January anyway, never mind £50m.
Ronaldo to Al-Nassr. But it was 'rubbish' that only a Saudi side was in for him in the summer and there were actually loads of clubs who wanted to make him an offer. What happened? All change their mind?

still hoping arthur melo goes back to the juventus treatment table.
absolute bust of a signing.
Lucky Liverpool have that amazing midfield depth that Klopp likes to boast about with players like Curtis Jones, James Milner and Harvey Elliot.
Doesn't really make sense that he admitted they needed another midfielder in the summer but now they don't even though Henderson & Fabinho are washed.
Spent £40m on a player they didn't really need just to try and get one over on Man Utd rather than address the obvious issue so let's see how that plays out for them.
Our left back position has been cursed since kolarov and clichy left. Signed mendy, and he was awesome for 5 games and then tore his ACL (and well, you know…). Had to play Fabian Delph (Fabian delph!) there for a year, then danilo, who did nothing of note, and then cancelo, who is allegedly better at RB, but could never supplant Walker. Our most successful left back was zinchenko of all people, and all that happened with him was his whole country blew up.
