Good stuff, but why is a film from 2012 topping your 2013 list?

I hope you can keep the calibre of presenters up for next years ceremony.

It was only released in certain countries and shown at film festivals in 2012. It wasn't on mainstream release until 2013. Most foreign films due to distribution tend to take forever to be fully released.

I saw it at the cinema in 2012.

It still wasn't on wide release though. It came out in Denmark in January 2013 and America July. It was nominated for ths years oscars also.

I wish films would just be released everywhere on the same day like albums, it would make things much easier.

Mahoney, you liked the Dirties? Have have you seen Nirvana the Band the Show? It's pretty awesome and is what launched Matt Johnson's career.

I've been meaning to check it out. I listened to Kevin Smith's Smodcast where he had Matt Johnson on talking about The Dirties & that was brought up and sounded interesting. Seems a cool guy with some great ideas, his next project sounds ridiculously ambitious.
