That new instrumental song sounds good, my opinion on his debut has lowered with time though. Still, he's already done more than most people would in a hundred lives and you won't see him resting on that. Definitely one of those artists I need to see sooner or later.

big fan of his solo debut and big fan of him live (saw him with the all girl group at hammersmith last time out and was superb)
i haven't heard the new track- but will listen now

I reckon my opinion would have changed if I had seen him on that tour, but I didn't and nowadays I don't find a reason for revisiting the record.

Going to try for tickets Friday - his gig at Ally Pally the other year was fucking incredible. Really enjoyed his first solo record too, nothing too earth shattering in the Jack White cannon but a really strong set of well crafted tunes.

I found his solo record really fucking dull. Wish I had seen him live tho, always a good show no matter what name he's given his latest group.
