I've been on these forums 13 years and I don't think I've ever seen a single thread about the Swedish pop sensations with that stunning blonde piece leading the line. So, The big question: what's your favourite ABBA song?

S.O.S. That chorus! Unbelievable scenes, Jeff.

SOS is one of the all time greats. I can fuck with Does Your Mother Know as well.

Yeah SOS is great, the piano and guitar riffs at the start of Mamma Mia are as good a start as any song has, loads of other great songs - great shout on One Of Us, also Waterloo, I Do I Do I Do..., Does Your Mother Know, Winner Takes It All. Quality band.

Super Trouper is the perfect mixture of melancholy and melody. "When I called you last night from Glasgow..." :(

Will ABBA’s new material match the quality of Browno’s Stone Roses rap?

Let’s hope so!

Fucking hell, they haven't lost their ear for a melody.

The first one is a bit Titanic Soundtrack, but huge nonetheless.

The second could've been released in their 70s pomp.

I used to be a right cunt with Abba, pretending I was way too cool to like them and I think at one point might have called them 'throw away pop'. The folly of youth. So glad I got over that. Let's be frank, Benny and Bjorn are up there with the greatest songwriters.
