So last year I agreed to help a friend and old bandmate out to record a few songs he had, we rehearsed them for an age, and spent a couple of months recording them over a couple of few sessions and these are the results.
The band is called 'Headless Corpse Trial' and for long time fans and noted listeners, this get up is essentially 3/4ths of an old band I was in named the DD Coys. I'm mainly playing drums, with some guitar/piano/backing vocals thrown in.
We recorded it at a studio called the Cowshed in Bounds Green, North TCOTU and the drum kit once belonged to the drummer from Manfred Mann in the 60's!
We've decided to release this a lengthy EP, short LP as basically, the songs seemed to work together. We recorded 8 songs in total and one didn't make the cut.
