Stretches of the lyrics are just strings of cliché - but that's not a departure from Oasis, as pointed out by that old parody tune, "Come in".
FWIW is certainly not worse than many Oasis tracks. It's up there with the latter era ballads like SCYHO and well ahead of Little by Little.

So glad LG is a beacon of tolerance in today's complex world. Racists like Rollinice must be so mad.

i'm actually astounded how successful his solo career has been so far, fucking excellent even if i'm not really a big fan of the album

his success is a pleasant surprise, his songwriters have created an album that is incredibly easy on the ears from start to finish.
Warner are a proper record company, they’ve hyped the album for 5 months in a very smart way and they believe in liam.
Liam’s Twitter is also huge.

Paul Arthurs playing on the album is clearly the cause of it all!!!
Bought the album for my MUM for her birthday, she's a fan guys. Thus done my bit. Liam has a vast fanbase. Even my christian brother bought Live Forever on single when it came out, he said it was all about Liam's voice. Fair to say I've never crucified him for that. Liam has the pulling power no matter who is playing guitar or writing the songs.

I think he will sell out Finsbury Park in a couple of hours tbh. He's massive. They should plonk Come Back To Me on the radio asap.

Wouldn't surprise me if they've reserved the Saturday at Finsbury too for when Friday sells out. I'm sure it hasn't escaped Liam that it's Mahoney's Birthday too.
