this is the official thread for me to update mahoney on the latest announcements for latitude. everyone else can ignore it.
comedy announcement this afternoon with music coming along tomorrow.
someone i know in real life has posted on efestivals saying hes had it confirmed to him that the headliners are portishead, alt j and noel gallagher. i have no reason to doubt this and would be quite happy with that. dont give a shit about alt j but always wanted to see portishead and obviously noel will be the bollocks.
sun kil moon self confirmed too.

Portishead, in the dark, headling a festival stage is a great thing.

proper happy with that lineup. portishead and noel will be good. really been getting into laura marling lately so glad to see her there. manics are a welcome surprise too. other than that femi kuti should be good, the likes of thurston moore, savages, sun kil moon etc are all nice and lower down the twilight sad, king gizzard and the lizard wizard should be top too.

Yeah its changed so much from the early days and has got too big for my liking. Lineup caters way more to the old vfestival/radio 2 crowd now.
Got a day ticket for the Liam day as its pretty close to me and theres always enough on the smaller stages to make a day worthwhile but doubt I will ever do the weekend again. I'm lucky in a way as it got shit around the same time as I had kids so going to festivals for a whole weekend is more difficult nowadays anyway.
