Can't recommend the new Esperanza Spalding album highly enough.
If you're a jazz, new soul, old soul, fusion fan you'll love it. Awesome talent, sublime album.
Album of the year so far for me.

Yeah, I've listened through a couple of times and liked what I heard. First stuff of hers I've ever listened too. I've also been enjoying the Ulrika Spacek record. Sort of Krautrock rhythm's with Sonic Youth guitars. Good stuff. |

Cheers for reminding me, I was listening to clips from this the other day and was impressed then forgot to STEAL it. I got a bit of a Zappa feel from some of the odd arrangements. |

Any thoughts on the new Primal Scream?
I wasn't sold on first listen but after a couple more spins, it's winning me over. Not as good as More Light but better than Beautiful Future.
