The Last Shadow Puppets record is really bloody good.

I'm finding once again the new Woods album very enjoyable. However, gotta agree with Pitchfork's review: the falsetto is getting weary, it can't be that hard to try a different voice for once after 8 fucking albums

I suspect he's just got a really high pitched voice! But I agree, it does get a little weary.
Not heard the new'un but loved the last two. will check it out.

The guitar work by Josh Homme on Iggy's Sunday is one of the best things ever, the whole song is in fact.

Kevin Morby solo record is out. I'm just getting around to listening to it, and I'm really liking it. I'm also a fan of this record I've liked everything he's released. This is another solid one

New Parquet Courts is great Yes! A massive return to form. That last EP they did was horrible.

Agreed, this is my favourite thing they've done. Has a similar feel to their side-project Fergus & Geronimo, which is probably why I'm so into it. Check out their record Funky Was the State of Affairs from a few years back, great stuff.

The Last Shadow Puppets record is really bloody good. Didn't do owt for me on first listen but I've had a few more tries and it's certainly a grower. I'm also unashamedly enjoying the new Weezer album.

I'm becoming a little bit obsessed with Car Seat Headrest/Will Teledo, LOVE the album from last year, although it was a 'best of' of sorts, his new album 'Teens of Denial' is released next month, first proper album for Matador and first recorded in a 'proper' studio. Three singles have been released from the album so far and they're all fantastic. Can't wait for the album, probably my most anticipated of the year so far.

I've been wanting to get into him/them for a while but I was a bit overwhelmed by the amount of material. The new songs are alright-ish I guess
