Enjoy! I don't think I could bring myself to pay to see them. Axl looks fucking weird without facial hair & slash is now chubby. I saw GNR (by that I mean AXL) a few years back, it was hilarious  The curfew was 10:30pm.. They came on at 10:40 I turned around during Paradise City near the end of the set (at nearly 2am!) and realised almost everybody had left Still, Duff still looks a hard bastard. |

And we saw Slash with his other band a few years ago...can't remember the name of the singer, but he used one voice for the solo band songs and whenever they did a gnr song, he switched into a (reasonably) passable axl impression. High comedy. You could be mine sounded fab, though.

Yeah I saw slash at Glastonbury one year, it was cool to see him do his shit. The singer was called myles something or other.

should have packet it in years ago 
although they are still hugely populer and make shit loads of money
so you cannot blame them i guess
there is not one single band on the flat earth
that excites me anymore

Every time I hear Sweet Child O' Mine I now can't help but think Axl was part of the Glitter/Saville/Fred The Weatherman gang. Just seems the type.

So yeah...I wasn't expecting much, but it was way better than I expected it to be. Axl doesn't sound *too* bad, Slash and Duff are still Slash and Duff, and the new guitar player is a tool. Great setlist too, except the cover of 'the seeker' in the encore was a strange choice to say the least. And they played estranged.  |

Just been watching a few videos, axl looks a bit strange, but his voice is top. Hope they release a new dvd and new album.
Great to see Adler being rolled out for a couple of tunes, the guy is still 16 years old in his head.
