still reeling from monday. there was no one i held higher than bowie, in all honesty. pretty much his entire back catalogue was about loneliness, isolation, wanting to escape...and he was never maudlin about it, he always repackaged it in colourful, innovative and futuristic ways. a true artist in every conceivable sense. he even made his fucking death an impeccable piece of art and i genuinely think his new album is fantastic, my favourite since Scary Monsters. I can't imagine anyone except Bowie bowing out with such fucking perfect grace. There is so much more I want to write about him, but i feel a bit too low (LOLZ) about it all at the moment. Brixton was a beautiful experience on Monday night. Huge fucking vibes. Brixton was something else eh

Well, at least people around you do care. I even feel guilty because I'm low and most people round here barely know who he was...

For some reason his death has got my mind spinning as well. I guess it's just rare in mankind that someone can truly be an original. Bowie was that, and while I wouldn't classify myself as a major fan I am almost ashamed at myself for not acknowledging for years how much of his work I did like. The new stuff sounds pretty awesome as well. I think Robin Williams was the last celeb that had me thinking like this, perhaps because he is another one of kind type of guy. Bowie left us to early, fuck cancer.
I really like this tune btw

Death has been hitting me hard lately. Been going through his back catalog again and remembering his fantastic albums. Shame it took his death to get me to listen to him again.

Luckily I had a huge Bowie phase a couple of years ago where I went through his whole back catalogue & spent time with the 90s stuff that nobody really bothers with. So therefor, I have no guilt! the blood is on your hands Steve.

What kind of justice is there when Steve still posts but Bowie dies?
ONLY KIDDING BIGRED3.
Actually, fuck you. I blame David's death squarely on you.
