I did some research into the scissor player (perhaps cause I fancy her) and turns out she's released her own album previously. I like this tune, her and video. She also has Noel's best haircut tbh.

similar to as you were, who built the moon has grown on me quite a lot with repeated listens.
it reminds me quite a lot of the second beady eye album really. both were with big name producers and came with a load of hype about being experimental and stepping outside of comfort zones. both albums threatened this with excellent early tunes (flick of the finger and fort knox) but didn't quite live up to that promise.
liam 100% wins this battle but i've gone from disliking this album to finding plenty to enjoy from it now despite its flaws.

Plenty of tickets onsale as well. shows what a man of the people Noel is, whilst most performers these days will announce gigs that will sell out quickly and many fans will have to resort to the black market etc, and maybe even their own promoters profit from that and factor it into the cut, Noel has graciously decided to do a tour he couldn't possibly sell out and so bypass the touts. what a massive legend. |
