The new Red Hot Organisation AIDS charity album curated by the Dessners (from The National). 58 artists, 60 songs, 6 hours of Grateful Dead covers.
The last one they did- Dark Was The Night, was fantastic.
There's a 10 track sampler on Spotify and so far it sounds ace.
I only started listening to the Grateful dead very recently. American Beauty is a terrific album.
The National performed 'Morning Dew' on the Colbert Report last night, it's fucking great. They're fucking great. The whole thing will be fucking great.

I listened to some of the covers, remember thinking the one by The War on Drugs could have easily been included on their last album. But never really cared about the Dead, just have heard something from that tour with Dylan
