If Liverpool & City win every game from now on, Liverpool will win the title by beating Crystal Palace on 21st March. If City drop 3, 4 or 5 points before Liverpool play Everton, then Liverpool will have a shot at the title, at Goodison Park.

League is done Eddie, we’ve opened the biggest gap in the history of the premier league. We are simply the best team in the world. Can’t see anyone winning the league other than Liverpool for the next 5 years tbh
Another champions league win is also nailed on.

‘Everton’s kit is salmon pink, more like salmonella pink the way they’re playing’ - a truly awful bit of commentary but I utterly loved it #MOTD

Credit to ole - what a performance that was yesterday. It looks like hes really starting to get it right, certainly signings wise the hit rate is 100%..(wan bissaka - wow). Scanning Twitter yesterday still see a few united fans pining for pogba but for me I think on his day hes the best player in the EPL but for whatever reason he cant do it for a season, so I'd be moving him on. For me he doesnt fit the profile of what's getting built there now. Same with ddg, although it would still take a massive set of balls to sell him.

You could make the case that young Henderson is as good as DDG right now. Now whether he can take being the United #1 is a different question, but I don't think DDG is the lynchpin he was a few years ago. Sell him to somewhere in spain and invest in an upgrade in a number of areas. Unrelated: it's not too late for Boris to become a national hero and cancel the 2019-20 season. Corona virus is a threat, but it's nothing compared to the oncoming deluge of smug Liverpool fans. DO IT, BORIS.

As I've said before the whole "lfc will be unbearable thing" makes me laugh when;
weve literally won every trophy in football over a 30 year period only to be reminded each time "yeah but you've not won the epl"
you see the gerrard slip on social media every day
Gary neville is posting videos when were losing saying we're bottling it and/or opening bottles of champagne when we lose...
the rest of the world celebrated us losing vs Watford.
You cant have it both ways guys. And I never quite get what we do that's so bad anyway? Celebrate? sing songs? make banners? "go on about it forever"? Isnt that what all fans do for their achievements? If anyone else wins a trophy if you want to sit on your hands and be miserable then that's your choice.
When people say we'll be unbearable if we win it what there really saying is "itll be unbearable for us, as our 30 year comeback is going out the window" but the reality is the goalposts will just be moved....in fact they already have. From "you've not won the premier league" its now.."you've not been invincible/ done the treble/ got 100 points".

you're either going to win the league in a silent, empty stadium or the league might get abandoned altogether.

Dream on. But even of it happened, things you dislike about liverpool, vaguely mawkish behaviour and the sycophantic attitude of the media would only grow....theyd be "the great lost champions" for all eternity rather than just another team that won the league

both of those things are possible, the empty stadium is very very likely and the abandoned league, much less likely but still possible. people will be talking about a worldwide epidemic, not a football competition

The irony of it is you're talking about it as a positive thing yet lfc fans are "unbearable". The league will just be postponed at worst. Probably best to cancel the euros tho

Excellent idea, implementing that here right now seems the only sensible thing to do.
