I need further ideas. So far I have the following (the first three tracks have to go on every christmas playlist). Alternative Christmas tracks are better for this.
Pogues & Kirtsy MacColl - Fairytale of New York Mariah Carey - All I want for Christmas Wham - Last CHristmas John Fahey- What Child Is This? Cocteau Twins - Frosty the Snowman Marvin Gaye- Purple Snowflakes Cat Power- Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas Low- Little Drummer Boy The Ronettes - Sleigh Ride Donny Hathaway - This Christmas Conor Oberst - Blue Christmas Tom Waits- Christmas Card from a Hooker in Minneapolis Nat King Cole- O Holy Night Bob Dylan- Hark the Herald Angels Sing Sufjan Stevens - O Come O Come Emmanuel The Flaming Lips - A Change at Christmas (say it ain't so)

This is my xmas playlist. I try to listen to half dozen x-mas albums/comps a year to add to it. Gary Glitter 4 life.

Pogues & Kirtsy MacColl - Fairytale of New York Mariah Carey - All I want for Christmas These two again and again and again. Everything else is either tuneless, not Christmas-y enough or just gets on my tits

-Shit Horse - Little Drummer Boy -Alone on Christmas Day by Phoenix & Bill Murray. -Black Lips (Christmas in Bagdad) and Julian Casablancas (I Wish It Was Christmas today), both on Mahoney's list. -Some indie duets: Merry Christmas, Baby by Crocodiles & Dum Dum Girls / Got Something For You by Best Coast & Wavves / Last Christmas by Kate Nash & Ryan Jarman. -Half of the tracks released by the Killers these last ten Christmas are pretty good tbh. Just found this one too: soundcloud.com/western_vinyl/diane-coffee-its-beginning-to
