Great stuff Tux, blows the first record out of the water!
My favourites on first listen were Damn Stupid, Either Way (not a twang cover) & She Was A stripper.

i'm one of the biggest hip hop fans on here tux, you should know that.
you're like chris martin, desperately trying to stay cool and relevant with the kids by trying to make more modern sounding records when everyone knows your best work was your mopey older guitar based tunes.

Maybe my mopey old guitar based are better but I'm limited somewhat by my ability to play guitar and write lyrics. The truth is, I feel like making this kind of stuff allows me to be more free creatively. I have more fun making this stuff and if I'm not enjoying then what's the point?

Don't worry tux, he expects me 29 albums in to still be making 27 not out.

Just wait until he hears the Jesus Abyss / Vanilla Shiznit collaboration that will definitely happen some time in the next 10 years.

I haven't listened to this yet but the other day I gave a try to that Soapbox Christmas special from 2010 and was a bit better than I remembered it

Finally got round to listening this. As you know I'm far from a hiphop fan, but this has a great ambience and nice guitars here and there, the mood is definitely achieved. A bit cinematographic too. Damn stupid is the best from the lot and She Was a Stripper is simply cool.
I'd say it's all a bit low btw, PUMP IT UP.

Thanks a lot, barny, that's a lovely little review.
Real happy that you mentioned the ambience and mood because it's something I was real keen on getting across.

The Yellow Peril marketing campaign finally reaches Spain. I've got a feeling that this record is going to reach its audience slowly but surely. Next stop, Norwich.

I had this playing this morning Tux. The lack of respect for real artists on the soapbox is shocking. I now know how Wintersox feels.

It's my most accomplished work to date with Hello, Monday being the only exception. I'm gearing up to start work on the next release which, all things going to plan, will be released under the Tuckerman moniker with original vocals.
