Here we gan! My first and probably last release, as shabby as you expected. kaukakauka.bandcamp.comOk, it's not out there as mahoney's or tucker's later releases, nor as perfectly crafted as the works of krburg or sebasco, but anyway... I'd like to change... well, most of it. Many words are mumbled, guitars faked everywhere, transitions could be smoother and all of it is mixed poorly. Some songs could have an extra chorus or part but I decided to keep it short for now. But it's my litle kid and it has a bit of charm, doesn't it?

Barney, I like this! It's got a Strokes vibe to it, it's like Julian Casablancas on crack with a casio keyboard and a guitar and I mean that in a good way.

Aye, sounds like a compliment to me Thanks. Gotta say specially the voices are quite improvable but I tend to leave it after the second take out of laziness. In fact I've recorded the last song quite ill with my throat hurting badly, that one I'll probably fix...

That's pretty fucking cool Barney! I expected the worst after hearing those casio sounds, but the songs are really good, I actually think your vocals are very cool and while listening to all the tracks I really fell for their lofi charm and their specific sound. Very unique, and the compositions are extremely catchy. Stop the understatements!

Sounds really good, barny. It's definitely got a very Strokes-esque sound, but I like how it's a bit rough around the edges.
The tunes themselves are incredibly well crafted.

Prueba has a ton of potential to be fleshed out into a proper tune.

This is another Albert Hammond banger Barns! My only criticism is that you could've done a better job on the vocals. Not your voice, but the doubling up feels jarringly out of sync at times. If you spend some more time sorting that out it'll sound a lot stronger. It might work better using one vocal take as the main vocal then a second in a slightly different tone & not as prominent in the mix. You really have a knack for these type of tunes though, nice one.

Thanks. I struggle with the recording and sync of the vocals, maybe because I'm never fully satisfied so I direcly give up soon with half arsed takes. Sometimes the voices even feature different lyrics or just mumbles I need a producer or to sell the songs to the Hinds and live out of the royalties.
