Has there ever been a thread?
Obvs he's the greatest ever, but he's just come up again as a friend was talking about the Scott Walker revisited prom that John Grant, Jarvis Cocker, Richard Hawley etc played at. The surprise stand out performer was Susanne Sundfør who judging by the YouTube footage available was the only one to really do him justice. Check this out. Sensational
And in terms of his albums, the heirarchy is
2 > 4 > 1 > 3

It's quite different Karl, but utterly beautiful. I love it.
Of the albums that aren't Scotts 1-4
Tilt > Drift > til The Band Comes In
I've never listened to Bisch Bosch or Soused. And I'll happily admit I've got to be in the right mood for Drift. It is astonishing and terrifying and brilliant, but hard work.

I think I (conciously, at least) heard my first Scott Walker song just last week. I know I should change that... but probably not soon.

I tried that new Susanne Sundfor record, but wasn't overly keen. Will need to give it another listen.
Scott 4 4LYFE, what an album.

Yeah had a listen to Susanne Sundfor this morning, had a few nice moments but felt very disjointed. Will give it another go though.
