On a recent interview about Be Here Now, Noel Gallagher described the album as a 'missed opportunity', as he pondered what Oasis' 3rd album could have been had he saved some of his best material from the Morning Glory-era from being thrown away as B-sides.
I decided to make this playlist of what I think would have been an album that could have lived up to expectations and stood alongside their first two albums. I've combined the best B-sides from that era along with edited versions of the strongest cuts from Be Here Now along with Stay Young, which once again I have no idea why Noel left such a good track off the album.
Don't get me wrong, I still love Be Here Now and it has some great moments, but I do agree that as a whole it doesn't stand up to their first two records and for me it lacks the emotional impact that Morning Glory had. I feel this playlist rectifies both issues, whilst also being at a tighter length.
