Straight up brilliant. Like OFWGKTA with black and white kids and gay and straight kids.
All three albums are great. I'm loving this- opening track from the second album

I don't know a thing about shit but thought on Odd Future there were gay kids? Also, does it really make for better music? I'm seeing it as a bonus lately and surely helps a genre as homophobic as hiphop but there are many other gay artists who don't tag themelves like that and for that reason they might lose some browney points...
I've been thinking for a while the background story of the artists is getting more important than their music, it makes for bigger articles and words and shit and of course those relates are easier to sell, but dunno, it's getting exaggeratedly omnipresent lately. I do understand it to a certain degree, but I'm not sure a gay (or black or whatever) pop artist should receive more praise than a pop artist (who happens to be gay or black or whatever).
Sorry for the rant, this probably belongs to a different thread but it's just so everywhere lately. Again, I do get it and think on the Trump era is more needed than ever, but people might be taking it a little too far.

It does matter and it doesn't matter.
It does matter because the likes of Tyler and Frank Ocean have opened the door and fundamentally changed hip hop (as I mentioned in my Tyler review) meaning that it now doesn't matter. What was impossible a few years ago is now becoming normal and that's a huge step in the hip hop community.
Now for premier league footballers.

Definitely necessary on sports and will happen hopefully soon (Ronaldo might say it once retired?), but obviously that won't mean gays are better footballers. Just like Mata is not a better one for his 1% thing but it's a great and much needed gesture.
I do know you enjoy the music, it's more the homogenic tendency on the music press that I believe it's exaggerated.
