I went to this, sprained my ankle climbing a fence the day before the gigs to watch the band soundcheck (they basically ran through the whole set) had a ticket for the saturday, watched from the hill on the other side of the fence with crates of ale. A load of us got the train to Balloch with not a clue where we'd camp, we're walking the streets and some farmers had decided to find campers to start a site off in one of their fields, as we were first they said we could pitch up for something absurdly cheap like £2 a head, so passing cars would see tents. we went for a stroll and a pint (where the landlady was saying the gig might be cancelled cos the fella died), bumped into bonehead, watched the soundcheck, I limped back to the campsite that was by that time full of glaswegians all off their heads on cheap speed. Heavy weekend. Sounded amazing. Imagine just pitching a tent in a field for a couple of quid then scaling a wall to watch Oasis soundcheck in their prime. Farmer don't give a fuck, security don't a fuck, man don't give a fuck. Proper. What we have now is Glastonbury with your itinerary designated through a microchip. Dire. Cotton Clouds is a couple of fields away from me this weekend. It's a travesty of a lineup but I'm gonna sneak my way in for the craic. Should be a laugh scaling an army of sheep and two cows to see Starsailor and Toploader. The Coral played last year tbf, but still, £70 why do you feel stealing your way into a festival is how it should be? what's more, you are going to steal into a festival in 2018 with "a travesty of a line up"? What do you believe in sully? What do you stand for?

The people here say I try so hard to be alternative and forward thinking but that's not true as I still miss Rafael and Nani down the right. I just feel at ease around serenity and when everybody is out of sight. I love the countryside and nature but not all animals - sheep, horses and cows are a super, natural delight because unlike dogs they don't bark and they don't bite. They keep things loose and they keep it tight.
