Anyone got/getting it? Review scores predictably high www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-4/red-dead-redemption-2

Done the first chapter, pretty slow going but getting into it now.
Also got asked for ID when buying it in Tesco despite having just turned thirty fucking eight.

Pretty awesome game. Actually love the pace, nice way to unwind after a long day. Smoke a big fat legal Canadian doob and ride around on my horse, Hanzel.

Anybody else played this then? Absolutely loved my first play through and I'm currently playing it for a 2nd time. Online is shite from what I've seen but the story mode makes it one of my favourite games ever I'd say. The level of detail in it is fucking incredible.

I enjoyed it a lot but it took absolutely fucking ages and still ended up with plenty of bits I mised from the sounds of it. Think I'm ready to tackle it again now though. Online I've struggled to get into but it was better on the rare occasions I managed to team up with people to track down bounites etc.

Aye it's absolutely ridiculous how big it is as a game tbf. I quite enjoy that about it though, especially on a 2nd playthrough (knowing how it pans out and not needing to rush through certain elements of it etc). Spent absolutely ages in chapter 2 and 3 just hunting, crafting etc. If you're gonna play it again I recommend in chapter 2 crafting the best satchel at camp, I forget its name, but it has 99 capacity for most things and it's just miles better not being told you've ran out of space in your satchel all the time.

I'm late to the party, even though I loved the first part (and it's one of the few games I actually finished). Got it yesterday and can't wait to dig into it. Wondering if I got enough stamina for this kinda thing these days though.
