It's not really my place to comment, and I've said my share of horrible shit to people on here, mainly Ana.

However Sully and Baz are as bad as each other in all of this.

Baz is clearly an intelligent well read fellow, his posts are articulate but can at times come across as a little pretentious. However to be fair I think that says more about me than it does him. Jealous isn't the word, but as I say he's an intelligent chap and I often think is there any need to post in the flamboyant way he does? But why shouldn't he? Don't take that as a dig Baz it really isn't, if anything it's supposed to be a compliment.

As for Sully I've massive respect for the way you lead your life. I'd love to not care for material things. You appear to live life by your rules and I think that's a beautiful thing.

I know social media isn't always a true reflection of our real lives but I follow Baz on Instagram and he'll not thank me for this but he and Sully might be quite alike in very different ways, hence the intense dislike for each other. They both clearly lifenlive by their own rules.

I can't help think both are absolute rotters though for sinking to making jokes about race and child sex abuse to try and get one up on the other. Maybe I'm just getting old though 'cause in the past I'd have been lapping all this up.

The Ana stuff is an odd one. But we all got previous, me especially. Ana is easily one of the world's most beautiful, complex people, is all I can say.

Truth is I once, until maybe 18 months ago, was always fond of monkeytennis and actually enjoyed reading his posts whether I agreed with him or not. But he genuinely harasses me on this forum and has done for as long as I can remember. I can guarantee 90% of his posts this year alone are quoting my posts in some form and attempting to belittle me. It takes it's toll whether online or not. But it's clear who has the problem. I reckon we have around 10 regular posters on this forum and feel I can shoot the shit with any of them yet wouldn't want their houses torched - spurs' ex-LB, tucker, mahoney etc. They can piss me off but it passes. Monkeytennis is on another level, sadly, and I don't feel through my own fault.

The irony is that both Noel Gallagher and Elliott Smith were abused as children by their fathers, my favourite two songwriters EVER. So while his posts don't effect me on a personal level, and I can rise above them on a musical level, he still plays with fire yet remains ignorant to that fact. Yet worst of all paints me as a nazi in the process. I've been purposely disgusting on my posts towards him but it's retaliation on a one-to-one basis - probably still wrong, but fuck it, I've no regrets tbh because I know what I am and stand for outside of this forum.

I feel the biggest crime in this thread is why people don't rate Sail On; that banjo and bridge-to-chorus vocal is majestic. I feel the geezer could release another Masterplan and you still wouldn't be grateful. I randomly attacked tucker in this thread because I felt he was swaying his opinion to go with the general consensus of the forum. Maybe he wasn't and genuinely hates the song, but I do reckon there's a bit of that on here at times. Out.

On the topic of Noel, and swaying opinion to get with the general consensus, you've completely misjudged the situation and been a complete cunt towards me because of that. There's a lot of Noel stuff I dislike but I'm more than happy to say there are also a few of his tracks that I think are brilliant (Everybody on The Run, Record Machine, The Right Stuff, You Know We Can't Go Back, Stop All The Clocks, The Man Who Built The Moon, Dead In The Water)

I try to be open and honest on this forum because whether it's pathetic or not (I'm sure people outside of this place would think it is) it's been a huge part of my life for the best part of 15 years. People from this place have been with me through my darkest of times but also through the happiest of times, too. To have someone take what I've shared with this place and throw it back at me in the form of an unprovoked insult just because I don't like a song they like is absolute madness. If you thought I was ripping on the song because I was following the crowd, why not just call me out on that? Instead, you jumped the gun and used a personal situation to try and score points which IMO is just completely pathetic. Yes, I fired back, and perhaps I shouldn't have but it really pissed me off.

I genuinely hold no ill will towards anybody on here, you included, but it's really disappointing when people start getting personal and using stuff from your actual life to start taking shots when no shots have been fired, that's bad juju.
