Travis were never great. And I say that as a man who saw them live back in their glory days. There was two decent tunes on the debut, then along comes The Man Who. A pile of sad lad pish that paved the way for Coldplay.
CRM opinion: Coming Around is probably their best tune.

I've just seen that there is a The Man Who 20th Anniversary Edition out now.. now I'm not one for anniversary's & usually pay no attention, but this has blown my mind that this is 20 years ago. For some reason this has really struck a chord and made me realise what an old cunt I am. Going to listen to LUV and have a cry now. |

Hes really really hurting.
He tried to play the quiet dignity card, only occasionally coming out with a smug snide comment. Beady eye splitting up was a particular high point for him.
Liam came back stronger than ever and still giving the fans what they want and has definitely won the PR battle, just by dint of being the nice more genuine bloke tbh.
And now his solo music is better as well and the midget has lost his shit.

Just been catching up with this....A bit of forum beef! Bit of action has Been a long time coming, and a noel sea shanty was all it needed to get things going...like poet laureate kelly Jones once mused "it only takes one match to burn a thousand trees". On the subject of ana; anyone remember the picture of her sister she posted, I don't know too much about ana, but 'that' was a beautiful soul.
