Wall of glass was a wall of shite

Wall of Glass is excellent you twit, and made for a fantastic 1st single.

I really like the sound of Shockwave even if from that clip it does sound a bit more generic. Still, I can hear Swamp Song type harmonicas and I like the "hey" bits in what seems to be the chorus.

Nah, son. It's one of the weaker tracks on a really great album.

A few years down, I find myself still enjoying "Come back to me" the most.

Well, I politely disagree on the topic of Wall of Glass. But yes, Come Back To Me, I think that is excellent.

From SCYHO: "Liam Gallagher has spoken to the new issue of Q about tracks on his new album, here are a few notes from the article."

Liam Gallagher has told Q that his second album will be released in September, he confirmed it's called 'Why Me? Why Not'. The title was inspired by two drawings by John Lennon.

One of the songs on the album is called 'Now That I Found You'.

That song sounds like The Jam or REM at there most dynamic and pop. It's about meeting his daughter Molly and has one of the best vocals he's done in years.

A classic style Oasis rocker to get the first 10 rows of a hall bouncing before they know the lyrics.

'Once'

Starts of with a piano, the person writing the article thinks it sounds like Imagine, Liam thinks it sounds closer to the Faces or Pink Floyd. "It's a fucking tune, one of the best songs I've ever sung".

'One Of Us'

Lyrics "Act like you don't remember/You said we'd Live Forever/You were always one of us."

This was the track that Gene was pictured on Bongos.

The song ends with a gospel choir.

His first album featured six songs written solely by Liam, for the new album 'Why Me? Why Not' every track on the album is co-written "I'm alright as a writer, but I want it to be a step up".

He added "I know my place. There's a lot to be said about knowing your place some people want to be everything the singer, the writer, the guitarist, on nose flute, and end up being nothing. I'm a singer the geezer at the front. So we create these songs together with Andrew or Kurstin or whoever. And then when I sing them, they're my songs".

definitely. it's a bit of a sad indictment that something as simple as that stands out in a gallagher lyric.

Just booked to see the documentary premier and live performance thing. At £15 for a cinema ticket I feel robbed.
