I liked it. It just lacks edge, I miss their raw garage sound though I guess once you get popular you start thinking about keeping the majority happy. At least that what appears to of happened here. Fortunately the quality of the songwriting is high enough that this still seems like it'll be a solid record.
I see they've added a THIRD night at Ally Pally, fucking madness. Fortunately the 3rd is a saturday night so I might go down there now despite it being shit.

It's not atrocious by any means, but it seems like they only released it to catch more fans now they have received more attention. Still only listened to it once and obviously it's as Black Keys as every other record but I dunno. Didn't heard any Clash on it though.

4 songs in and yeah not really sounding anything remotely close to the Cramps or Clash. Not bad but yeah mahoney no edge to it which Brothers had. Only 5 songs into it but eh meh so far....

check that on what I said on the Crampish/Clashish this Run Right Back tune does have that feel to it. I also thought the beginning of Lonely Boy did too.

It's probably closer to Brother than to any other album, but I don't think it's that close to it.

The last one was released what half a year ago ? Typical record wanted by the label with variable quality tunes. So long the Black Keys, you used to be good. Brothers was the first step down anyway.
