The new Black Angels has leaked. Didn't bother with anything after the amazing debut but gonna give this a spin and might dive back into them.

I loved the debut and 'Directions To See A Ghost' had it's moments but the last one did absolutely nothing for me, will give the new one a go though.

Over a month til the new Daft Punk is out. After the pish they served up with the Tron soundtrack i hope they get back to D.I.S.C.O

You know what, I don't think I've ever really bothered to listen to Daft Punk. Obviously I know all the big singles & I did have one of their records on CD back in the day but I don't think I ever heard it more than a couple of times.

Homework is amazing. Back in 1996 it was real game changer. Definitely one of the best dance albums ever, that and Jilted Generation IMO. Discovery is great too but a lot more commercial and accessible. Human After All was shite tbf. If your not a big fan of the genre then they'd have pass you by (apart from the singles). But download Homework and give it a proper listen at the appropriate time (would be ideal to have going when you are doing your rounds in the morning I'd say Karl)
Live though they are immense, even better than the Prodigy which is saying a lot from me. I'd put them down as a "must see once" act even if you don't like dance music

Tyler, The Creator's album has leaked. One track in and it's a lot better than most of Goblin.

I give it a go, Goblin was one of the most disappointing records of all time for me. The hype I had in my head would never of let the record be great but still I thought most the record was proper jank. I've no expectations this time so even if its shit I'll probably enjoy it

It's sounding a lot better than Goblin. A lot lighter and fresher (or something).

black angels is basically as it has been for the past releases, some good tunes but they all kinda sound the same...
would love it if they did some campy zombies kinda sound just to turn things around.
not bad by any means but probably won't grow much more on me

Goblin was pretty crap, but it still had YONKERS.
Looking forward to listening to his new one.

yup, gave it a spin yesterday and found it a bit dull tbh. had read great reviews and loved "Halo" and "childish prodigy" so was expecting to get blown away which didnt happen at all...having said that, prodigy was a grower for me too, so....
