Six of the eleven songs are over six minutes long and I don't think they have enough about them to keep them interesting.
Maybe it'll grow, but right now, it seems like a chore to listen to.

I wasn't fussed about his first album so giving this a miss.
The new Knife record I heard so many good things about, I wanted to die after hearing it. Flaming Lips yet to grow on me much either.
A band nobody mentions on here but i'm digging their new record is Mudhoney. It's just a good ballsy rock record in the vain of the stooges. Clumsy throwaway lyrics but it is floating my boat.

I'd recommend people getting the Tropical Popsicle album off exy. Very impressed with it after my first listen. There are a couple of tracks on it that do nothing for me, but the rest is pretty fucking good.

Has anyone tried the new one by Bill Ryder-Jones? I've read good things, but I'm lazy enough to find it out by myself

You know what, I don't think I've ever really bothered to listen to Daft Punk. Obviously I know all the big singles & I did have one of their records on CD back in the day but I don't think I ever heard it more than a couple of times. My girlfriend likes them and I always have been close to hate them, but the marketing they've been doing for this record has been superb. It makes them look like the coolest guys on earth tbh.

Primal Scream up on Exy, has 2 bonus tracks plus a 2nd CD called Extra Light with six more.
With the records length I predict I will be doing a horizen and giving you all my personal track listing within 2 weeks.
