Liam Live

this is easily the best part of his recent renaissance, he sounds so much more secure, relaxed and confident in his vocals. i'm listening to cast no shadow from mtv unplugged, and really, it's as good as maine rd. he sounds youthful without trying to be young.

Just listening to Sad Song now. Next album should be Liam covering every single Oasis song Dwayne ever did vocals for, the record will be called Cancelling the nonce.

Better than anything since the sotsog era, his voice still isn’t anywhere near as good as it was on jools Holland though, I also liked his voice on familiar to millions.

In terms of the recent era, his voice on the live in New York gig is the best for me.

Edit. Watching the radio x gig on YouTube, great gig, maybe even better than the New York gig, bonehead makes a massive difference to this band, one of us sounds brilliant live.

Liam might be sounding decent these days, but surely there has never been a need for an acoustic-and-bongos arrangement of Greedy Soul.

Christ, I’m glad I didn’t go out of my way to see our Liam open for the who....6 songs. Good grief.

I think this happens alot with dinosaur rock bands, they have a huge crew that insist on having way longer than needed to set the band up so the support gets shafted. They should just plug in and start with you better you bet, nobody will care if it sounds like shit for 6 minutes.

I think Noel got 10 or 11 opening for U2. That seems fair. Not sure why Liam would even bother to go that far for 6 songs.

Does anyone know where I can the COMPLETE unplugged video including the Oasis tracks?

He sounded pretty damned good. Better than he has the past few years. Champagne Supernova was changed up and shortened. But other than that, wasn't disappointed.




The Who were good (already seen them before). I was leaving by the time they had Eddie Vedder up on stage with them.

Looks like he's mixed the set up every night too. Not something which could be said for his dullard brother.

I'm going to see LG live on the European tour now on feb in Copenhagen. I hope he would put GLIO already on the setlist (I think he'd sound great singing it!) , he's been talking about putting it at least on the set during the summer UK gigs...
