Lewis Capaldi isn’t a bad guy. Living in Jockland you can’t avoid him - he is relentlessly on the radio / front pages any time he tweets. He has a decent voice and at least he hasn’t come up the standard private school / rich family / RADA graduate route that delivers up so many pop stars / actors these days. He’s also ugly as sin, which is definitely unusual in the celebrity game in the age of Insta  |

Yeah, I can genuinely say, I've never knowingly heard a Lewis Capaldi song, there's a chance it may have been on in the background somewhere, but I wouldn't have known or even probably have noticed it. As others have said, I just generally don't engage with this stuff. Not trying to sound 'cool' or whatever, but I just don't. I don't listen to the radio and i rarely watch the TV that isn't a streaming platform or a downloaded film, i've explicitly put on. We don't listen to music at work either and when i'm out and about, i've always got headphones on and I don't engage with any of this stuff on social media. I've seen clips of Lewis Capaldi ripping the shit out of Noel on social media, and some compilation clips of him 'being funny' in interviews. But couldn't tell you what he sounds like. Yeah,same. 6music at home sometimes. And that's about it. |

I mean why would anyone on this forum care what the Brit Awards do.
Then again, I also struggle to grasp why anyone outside of the film industry gives a fuck about who wins what Oscar. But plenty of grown men get extremely upset about it every year on social media.
All industry awards are corporate backslapping, nothing else.
