I liked parts of who built the moon, with the bonus track “dead in the water” being the highlight. The song is as good as it’s ever going to get for Noel Gallagher from a songwriting perspective in current times.
These new EP songs and singles are genuinely terrible though, this is embarrassing low quality music, I’m legit insulted when I hear Noel telling me his music is “out there” - who is he actually appealing to right now ? Are there new Noel Gallagher fans who don’t enjoy oasis but who love these new songs? I’d be shocked if even 500 people across the entire country fell into this category,
I haven’t heard any of his new songs in public spaces, I haven’t come across a single person who’s casually said “have you heard that new Noel Gallagher song?” In years.
The only logical conclusion I can come up with is that Noel is now a Supremo global pedo cult leader with Abs serving as the number 3 guy capable of handling South American enquiries at all levels.

Dead in the water has that stupid money/funny rhyme, but apart from that it's fine. I wasn't and am still not blown away by it; certainly prefer several of the WBTM tracks proper (she taught me to fly, black and white sunshine).
Apart from Wandering Star, I haven't even bothered to listen to any of the EP tracks in full. I'll start playing them on Youtube, skip ahead a minute, and then skip to the last minute. Such a contrast to the old days of obsessing over Angel Child or Full On or somesuch.

Just makes me think of an old picture of liam and noel, reminiscing about the pre fame simpler days.
