Over the last few days, I've been working on a new song which is inspired by all the stuff going on in the world with Coronavirus. Link to Soundcloud below:

Due to the fact that I'm full of cold ( or maybe Coronavirus) the vocals are a little strained and raspy but it's ended soudning just a little bit like Tom Waits. Give it a listen and let iz know what you think. |

Question for the 3 of you who've heard this. Should I stick to the Waits-esque piano ballads and try and churn an albums worth out? Otherwise, I'm thinking of doing something quite varied. I've been working on something today that sounds a little bit Explosions In The Sky.

Everything else I've done, I'd say it's just okay really. But those 4 in particular, I'm really fucking proud of. Can't wait til my kids are older so I can play them some of their old Dad's stuff so they can laugh at me.

i always consider rolling thunder karl's 1 hit wonder tbh.
though my favourite overall work was the release about turning 30. some beautiful moments on it.
