It sounds really great tux, I can see a remix spreading it a few minutes more. But everything about it is engaging and satisfying, well done!

Get an idea, develop it abit, get a track laid down then onto the next thing. I could've spent more time on this for sure but I'm a bit impatient and I get far too excited when I stumble across what I think is a good idea.

Yeah, I meant you've hit a sweet spot, a "mood" with that production style and maybe it can amplified on that one or some other songs.

Really like this a lot Tux. Reminds me of something Damon Albarn would have used on Everyday Robots, musically as well as the vocals.

Thanks for taking a listen, Karl! More than happy with those comparisons.
Got another track that is just about ready to drop. Musically, I guess it's kind of similar; synths, drum machine. No vocals this time though and I'm instead using a sample. To me, it sounds a little bit LCD Soundsystem (the last albun) and I guess a bit Neon Neon maybe? It's a bit more lighthearted, too. I might ask Karl if he wants to drop it as a single on Bat Chain seeing as I also did some cover art.

Thanks jp.
Weird how it turned because I wasn't going for a Grandaddy sound intentionally and now 2 people have mentioned Grandaddy.
I got another track wrapped up at the weekend. It uses similar chords and sounds to this track but is a 5 minute, piano driven instrumental. I reminds me a bit of Sigur Ros but obviously not as accomplished.
And I'm close to finishing another track that started out as a short acoustic thing but that I've reworked completely and is now on keys. I'm particularly proud of the drum patterns I put together for it. Fully intend to record some vocals for this one. It's deliciously 80s.
Gonna keep at it and if I make it to 9 or 10 songs I'll have an albums worth of stuff to share for the 3 or 4 people here who will listen.

You’re on fire at the moment tux. Think this will be your best record yet judging by what you’ve come up with lately

Got a little bit of an Electric Soft Parade vibe to it as well.
Good stuff, Tucker.

Great tune, nice job also like your older stuff (esp. the long and lonely walk home) Thanks boss. And cheers everyone for listening. I'm having a blast writing stuff these past few weeks. Not being restricted to guitar really opens things up in terms of what I can achieve musically.
