Lovely stuff Tux. You've got a real knack for these short ballads. I think the simplicity of the arrangements really serve these songs perfectly. This might be my favourite release of yours yet, though I've not heard the Weekend EP for a while. Bravo!

Thanks Karl. I'm pretty happy with it. I think the next release has to be an albums worth of stuff and not just an EP. Thing is, I'm just really impatient and want to put something out there as soon as it's done. But yeah, for the next release, I'll for a Bee Thousand/Alien Lanes type thing of about 18 short songs. Maybe.

hahaha yeah I thought that was a Vanilla Shiznit EP for some reason. I think I contributed to this by referring to your last EP as the follow up to The Weekend EP Still, "The Forth EP" doesn't sound as cool as the third EP.

That's the kind of marketing and promotional care you get with Bat Chain Records.

I like to think of it as "The Third" EP, it brings deeper meaning within the title.

And speaking honestly, that Digitally Enhanced Experience EP was a real mixed bag. I only really think Hard.Drug.Abuse and Now We All Float Away (re-used on the State of Mind EP) are any good. The rest is trash in my eyes,

wtf do you know m8. Your worse than Noel with your opinions on your back catalogue. It'll go down as the unsung EP, the one the hardcore constantly ask for that you dismiss to their disappointment. "I wish he'd play Hard Drug Abuse, I'm so sick of hearing Hello Monday in the encore every night". The stopgap which hinted a future direction, that being The Vanilla Shiznit, an important document in the Tucker discography.

Definitely your best work yet, lovely set of fulfilled miniatures. Wildfires is my favourite, the piano suits your voice perfectly and combined with the way you extend the words carry the song altogether.

Thanks barny! I tried for ages to do something more with Wildfires but it just wasn't happening so left it as it was.
I'm already working on my next project. I am determined for it to be an album of about 17 or 18 short tracks, bit like Alien Lanes / Bee Thousand. I've got 2 tracks done already that I'm really happy with. One is quite BJM while the other sounds a little bit GBV.
