As always, it sounds great Tuxxxx. Lots of little details and bits of fantastic guitar throughout (Heavy Like the Sun). I'll definitely be coming back to it, enjoyed it more as the songs were progressing.
Lovely artwork too.

I'll be honest. I really liked what I have heard in the past from the EP's and I am just at work here getting ready to stuck my headphones in and have a listen to this. You're a hell of a storyteller/writer as well. I always look forward to a post by you. |

To be honest Tucker, I loved it.
I like that it has a definite homemade vibe but has a dose of stereo trickery, with sounds coming in and out from left or right. The occasional dissonant chords, the voice low in the mix...I like that it's low-keyish but it really captures a moment, it tells something, you've made the songs three-dimensional.
Carousel is my favourite so far - it feels like everythig moves in slow motion. I'm gonna burn it onto a blank disc to keep it in the collection, because I enjoyed it so much.
If this were released on vinyl...and then you kill yourself...I can see this becoming huge.
It has that kind of appeal

Wow, you're super productive tucker, gonna check it out on my way to work! Just been really enjoying the process these last few months. I'd love to dedicate a set amount of time to making music. to really focus on it. Right now, it's a case of grabbing 30 minutes here and there to bash out some chords, or do a quick vocal. This album was made either; sat at the end of my bed (recording guitar) sat on the couch (when adding strings/synth using my phone) or sat in my office (recording vocals and generally just tinkering with levels, effects, etc) It's incredibly cliche but I'd love to just pack some stuff up and go stay in a cabin for 2 weeks on my own and focus entirely on making music. Maybe one day. Let me know what you think when you've had a listen, love to hear any feedback. |

Unfortunately Ocado were out of stock of Melons & now I feel the promotional cycle for this record has passed. The thought was there though Tux!

Unfortunately melon is out of season and dreadfully expensive at the moment.
There is a reason Strawberry Fields Forever didn't reach #1 and that's because it was released in February, when there are no fucking strawberries.
Agriculturally speaking, the album is a failure.
If you want to be a songwriter, you have to know crop rotation these days, I'm afraid.
