Oh no no, we're making it a lot worse with the next redesign Gonna make a nest of subsections... MUSIC > ROCK > DISBANDED > EUROPE > MANCHESTER > BURNAGE > OASIS
I've always liked Heathen Chemistry. It's not their best album but I've always enjoyed most of the songs on it except She Is Love. But the other singles from the album I've never had a problem with. It's crazy to think that the album will be 20 years old this year.
Just wanted to say bought a CD job lot of Oasis albums on eBay recently and donated Heathen Chemistry and Stop The Clocks straight back to the charity shop without a single spin! 20 years though eh.
Everything is awful about it, the artwork, title, production, but yeah, still an exciting time of life. Embarrasingly I bought the Heathen Chemistry t-shirt with the RKID barcode on the front which I wore with pride at the time, and got it signed on the back by the whole band outside the Liverpool Royal Court theatre gig. Whitey jumped out of an new mini right near the doors, and just by luck we were stood near it - no other fucker got his autograph that day!
I doubt that they'll release any boxed set release for 20 years of Heathen Chemistry as they didn't with Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants so I will be surprised if they do with any of their albums post 2000.
I know this thread is about the 20th anniversary of the album but the twenty part never really struck me until I read a tweet earlier about it being 20 years since Stop Crying Your Heart Out was released.
