Not many of us left but...arguably, the best ones
Hopefully we should be able to get 10 people, right?
We should keep the rules as they were: we all get paired with another random forum user and we do a mix for them. We then review the mixtapes on the forum. The track by track reviews are the best part.
The only difference I suggest is that we find alternative ways to share our mixtapes.
No more turtled mp3s. We have the tools to stream anything anytime anywhere.
We could:
- Put the mixtapes as long files on soundcloud, perhaps on a common The Soapbox account.
- Put the mixtapes as long files on Youtube as private videos, if we all have accounts
- Exchange youtube/spotify/tidal playlists
- Exchange text playlists
I think the Soapbox soundcloud account is the prettiest solution. We can all listen to one another's mixtape. And we can use the account in the future for other things. Long files are easy to make with Audacity.
